LXPERFUME matte black bottle in molten gold light
Our Story — The House of LX — Est. MMXXV
The Maison — Our Story

A better kind of luxury begins with honesty.

We make extrait de parfum with the presence of a $200 fragrance — and sell it for what beauty actually costs. This page is the why.

The Founding Belief

Confidence is what you wear before you say a word. So we removed the middlemen, the retail markup, the license fee for a logo — and left only the oil, the glass, and the gold.

A Letter From the Nose
“I have smelled $400 bottles
where the campaign cost more than the oil.
So this house spends backwards —
fragrance first, glass second,
theater never.
What’s in your hand is what you paid for.”
— The Nose, LXPERFUME

No boutique rent. No celebrity contract. No license fee for a name on the glass. The money goes into the oil, the bottle, the box — and nowhere else.

The Anatomy Lesson

The anatomy of a $395 bottle.

We laid a designer extrait on the bench and dissected it. The fragrance turned out to be the smallest organ in the body — everything above it is name, freight, and performance.

A designer bottle, dissected
The Name & Campaign ~60%
Distribution ~20%
Packaging Theater ~10%
The Fragrance Itself ~10%
~$395 Mostly tissue you can’t smell

Oil · Glass · Gold Accents
$34.99 Same anatomy — nothing vestigial

Ours dissects cleanly: 30% perfume oil, matte black glass, a champagne-gold label — and a price that reads like a bill of materials.

The House, Est. MMXXV

The story so far, in five acts.

Act I

The Question

Why does presence cost $395? We bought the bottles, wore them, priced their parts — and found that most of the money evaporates long before the perfume does.

Act II

The Bench

We went looking for extrait-grade oils and wrote the first house law: 30% perfume oil in every composition, or it doesn’t ship.

Act III

The Collection

Forty-five scents, each poured into matte black glass and dressed in champagne gold — and given films instead of celebrities.

Act IV

The Atelier

We taught layering as a house art: two extraits on skin become a third scent no counter can sell you.

Act V

Today

Forty-five signature scents, one house accent — and the question in Act I still runs the company.
